INTRACOM DEFENSE (IDE) had the opportunity to participate, as the only Greek entity, in the ARTES Final Presentation Days 2024 (FPD), which took place between 1-3/10, at the ECSAT facilities of the European Space Agency (ESA), Harwell, UK. During the conference, IDE as the Project’s Prime Contractor with sub-contractors the companies OHB-Hellas & Alpha Unmanned Systems, presented the results of the ACROSS-AIR project’s activities. The presentation of the ACROSS-AIR important results was of great interest, especially with respect to the upcoming standards for the 5G/6G-NTN (Non-Terrestrial Networks) technologies.
In addition, in the context of IDE’s presence at ARTES FPD, the company’s team managing space technology projects had the opportunity to present IDE and its capabilities in this dynamically developing field, attend presentations of other interesting activities, exchange views with representatives of important European space entities, as well as to discuss in person with ESA Technical and Program Managers about future needs in Satellite Communications (SATCOM). ESA Executives showed particular interest in IDE’s capabilities within the Greek Space Ecosystem, where IDE can have a leading role.
